Just did another $100 for this week at CS desk at my usual store, but the manager informed me the coupons are not printing right. After the transaction he manually went into another computer and somehow manually added the digital offer to my price plus card. He also noted the code and signed my receipt for the cashier for next week’s redemption.
Also since he didn’t ask for ID, I tried running a $200 VGC(Blackhawk? from Staples, on 5% Chase Ink) to buy these giftcards and it went through(as credit). Even was prompted for cash back, I think I could have gotten the remaining $100 in cash, but I didn’t want to push my luck too much. I just recently maxed out my Amex BCP 6% on the year($6k spend), just a bit too hot this year because of all of these GC sales at the end of the year.
No issue at all with redemption, so if the receipt doesn’t print out correctly, a manager should be able to manually load the offer onto your PP card and write the code on the receipt. At self checkout(or regular), you type in the 5 digit code(don’t press coupon button) and then once a cashier approves it, it will come off.
Just did this at our local ShopRite on Long Island and got the $20 voucher for a future purchase. Used my AMEX BCP which should code at 6%. Everything else I buy at ShopRite comes in at 6%. Nice return!
They are running this again for the 3rd week in a row, purchase 12/10-12/16, redeem 12/17-12/23.
This is one of the best deals running, with a decent card like the BCP you can earn 25% or more off.

Bought $100 gas cards using Amex BCP (6%) good combination. Certificate prints at the end of the receipt as usual
Better do it at or near customer service. Shopwrong constantly have issues with printing voucher at receipt.
Remember, all Shopwrong stores are different franchises. Different store owners might have different policies. Some are even cash only for buying gift cards!!

this is the second week in a row they are doing this. I now have 2 $20.00 vouchers for this week starting to use Sun 12/10 (2 PP cards) Doing this again with 2 PP cards will give us 2 more 20.00 vouchers for the following week. I buy Gulf 25.00 gas cards plus a few Dunkin cards that I add online to my acct. My local cashier told me I am the only one doing this. I can attest to the fact that the gift card rack is still full of plenty of Shell/Gulf/DDonuts/Subway and many others.
are these vouchers for online shopping only? that was what it seemed like and I think there’s a fee to purchase stuff online.
The voucher can be redeemed in the store the week after you purchase the gift card(s).
NO!! The 20.00 voucher is printed on bottom of the receipt when you buy grocery items along with it. You need to save receipt for next week and give to to cashier when you buy 20.00 worth of groceries. Easy to do. Milk , eggs etc. it’s not on your PP card so if you lose it you are out 20.00.
I scotch tape it to a piece of loose leaf paper and make a shopping list on the paper. It does not go onto any price plus card.
In my area of NJ, redemption dates are Tues 11/28 to Sat 12/2.
Tried using one at lunch, punched in code at self checkout, cashier came over and approved, it took no issues. Tried using one linked to P2’s card after work, different store, cashier had to call over manager and she wouldn’t do it cause it didn’t start till tomorrow. But the system definitely accepts them early.

I wonder it it would work to stack this with the Apple Pay Amex offer ($5 back from $40/50). If it goes work, then that’s another $10 back
@Tommy Yes it works. I did that when Meijer had a 20k point with $100 gc purchase.
I buy the 25.00 Gulf gas cards. Using this, you get cash price at the pump. Plus the 20.00 for groceries the next week. If memory serves, the next week (after Thanksgiving) will be buy 100.00 or 200.00 VGC and get 15.00 off groceries the following week. Of course the fee is now 7.95 for only a small bunch of free groceries.
