Can you spit it between two gift cards on one receipt? Say, $50 lowes and $50 homedepo

That’s what I was hoping to do. I’m going to try and ask in the store when I go today…

Maybe this makes it a little more worth the effort..

Just got an Amex plat offer for 10% back at ShopRite. Max $10 off. Wonder if it’ll stack with this offer…

yes, the same except for different dates. Starts today. BUT do NOT lose your receipt. The receipt has the 20.00 certificate on the bottom that you need for next week to redeem. SR is betting you forget the receipt or lose it. it does NOT go on the Price Plus card on purpose!!.

The code at the bottom of the receipt is the same for everybody. The qualification for the offer does go on your price plus card, and will work if you can convince the cashier to type in the generic code. Or, go to CS, where they can look up your card and see that the offer is there.

Of course, it’s better to avoid the hassle and just be sure to hold on to the receipt, like you said.

A year or two ago, the code was not printing on the receipts. So, you’d be directed CS after purchase, where they’d check your card to ensure the offer was there, and just write the code on the receipt.

And if you go to (x) store for the purchase, that same store is the only one that can look up your receipt for a reprint.

well, SRite is doing a better deal starting 12/4-12/10/ than the past 7 years. They always did the BFriday “spend $100.00 on any gift card (s) and get a $ 20.00 certificate printed on your receipt for NEXT week’s groceries.”. Then the week after BF they always did the same deal, but with a 15.00 certificate. Well this is the first year they did not do the follow-up the week following BF. BUT in the new circular beginning 12/4, the same 20.00 deal is back. My wife and I always do these by buying 4 25.00 Gulf gas cards. We have 2 price Plus cards. We used the 2 $20.00 certificates this week and saved 40.00. Will do the same this upcoming week. BTW, when you use a Gulf or Shell gift card at the pump, you automatically get the cash price at stations that charge extra for credit cards.

While it’s generally true that gas station gift cards get you the cash price, it’s not universally true. I know of a station where you get the credit price. I know of another station where you get 10 cents less than the cash price (I can’t figure that one out).

I have never saw AMZN cards there. My SR has a small display, but as long as they carry Gulf,Valero and Citgo gas cards, I’m good. Dunkin is the next choice. Gulf is the cheapest gas near me. 3.42 for regular yesterday cash price or with the gift card.. . Gas dropped about 20 cents in the past month. The fake news has said gas prices are plummeting. I’m waiting for that to happen.
