SiriusXM: 24 Month Platinum Plan For $3.99 Per Month

The Offer

  • SiriusXM is offering new Subscribers: 24-Month SiriusXM Platinum Music & Entertainment Subscription Plan for $3.99 Per Month for 24 Months

Our Verdict

Says for new members, but works if you’re an existing member and then cancel and re sign up. Personally don’t think this is worth paying for, but some people love it.

This did work for me on 1/12/24 via online chat. I reached out to cancel and when they made me the $4.99/month for 12 months offer, I said I’d seen a $3.99/month for 24 months offer online (which the links shared here are no longer working BTW). She asked if I had a screenshot of the offer and I said I did not but saw it on this website. She asked for the “name” of the offer. I just copied and pasted the name of the offer above. She accepted this and gave me the $3.99 for 24 months without having to cancel first.

A little late getting this done but still available today. I am a current subscriber, chatted to let them know I wanted to switch to this offer, no problem. Have chatted with them before to cancel and renew at the promotional rate, so was expecting it to be a PITA, but it was not. They can’t access the link in chat so be prepared to post a screen shot through chat.

They did try to switch me to the non-platinum plan, but once I pointed out where it showed that in the screen shot, all was good. Keep an eye on how they confirm the plan back to you to verify the rate and that platinum is included.

I called sirius, rep put me on hold for 5 minutes while she checked with her support dept, then she switched me to platinum for $4 monthly / $5.46 with taxes and fees for 24 months. You can use the link below if you do not already have a subscription:

There is also an add-on to the “3 years for $99 deal”. Thy offer two more years for extra $50 when you sign up. Did this for another car that had XM deactivated a while ago.

PITA dealing with them. First they offered a price locked 6.99 plan (P2 currently on 5.99 plan), selling it as never have to call them again. Turned down.

Said they couldn’t give $99 plan because car was newer than 2015. Cancelled plan.

But wait, we have a 4.99 plan for you. Turned that down. Please cancel.

Hang on, “what can we do to keep you?” “Gimme the $3.99 plan.”

After getting special sign off from manager (yeah, right), got the $3.99 plan for 24 months.

Still don’t understand the lure of the service.

Really? You “don’t understand the lure of the service” but were on the phone with them that long and then decided to pay $4 a month?

It was chat and I wasn’t doing it. I was just hearing play by play by P2 who has the service. Took about 20 minutes. It was entertaining though.

I see they’re getting sued as well: https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/20/media/siriusxm-cancellation-lawsuit/index.html

No link? What am I missing here? How am I the only person asking?

I asked for the 3 yr for $99 deal via chat and got it no problem (only for the primary radio but still a huge savings).

For those of us with the annoying GM card: SiriusXM is one of the few things for which you can get statement credit with those points. Hard to cash out otherwise if you’re not buying a car or overpriced gm parts or service. (My sat radio sub was not in a GM car.)

I called today to ask about changing my current plan to the three-year, $99 offer: siriusxm.com/3for99. I had to pay upfront (instead of monthly), but they switched me over, and my cost is now less than half of what it was.

Just chatted with a rep and they said the 3 for $99 deal is only available on 2015 or older vehicles. Lol.
