Our Verdict
They have offered a $200 checking & $500 savings bonus in the past. The upside to this savings bonus is that it only requires a $1 deposit, should be worth doing for a lot of readers and we will add this to our list of the best saving bonuses. Account also earns 1% APY when you deposit $1,000+ per month.

Looks like I received the bonus after receiving an email about it. Didn't think this was going to pay out, but I did notice a $5 checking fee and a $2 statement fee, which I am going to contact support about on the 31st and 1st.
6/24/22: Application required me to scan/send driver license for confirmation. E-mailed license and Sky-High saving account and Primary saving account were opened. I funded the Sky-High saving account and Primary saving account with $1 and $5, respectively. eStatement set up to waive the $2 fee.
12/22/22: Sent a secure message to customer service asking when the bonus will arrive. It has been 180 days since I opened and funded the account.
12/23/22: $100 bonus posted in primary savings account.

Just received the targeted email for the same thing. 36 month language stinks. @will
I tried to open this account on 6/22, but I never heard back about my application. I recently received a statement in the mail for 6/22-6/30 showing my attempted total of $500 in credit card funding, which was reversed the next day. I called, and the application was denied from the start.
I applied 6/24, received an email 6/25 from them acknowledging that I signed documents with docu sign and, that's it. No further communication.
I sent an email response to their email acknowledging the docs: I got a response! Told me to upload a DL pic and utility bill.
I responded with "Where?"
No response yet. I give up, doubt they would pay out since the account was applied for but not "open" before the cut-off.
Got a statement in the mail today, called them and they said it my account was closed due to me never uploading any documents/ID scan. The problem is, they never sent me any communication asking for an ID, only the Docusign confirmation and a text saying to look out for an email which never came. Seems like I missed out on $100 but also on dealing with an incompetent credit union, so I'll call it even.
+1
same...
dead?
No mention of a $100 bonus or promo code now... plus, the expiration date has been exceeded = dead.
Account was opened and then closed the following day. Funding was returned, would not recommend to anyone who has multiple Chex inquiries.
At least they didn't keep you in the dark for two weeks and then return your funding at their leisure. (Teachers FCU)
They didn't return my funding yet, a month+ out
my account was declined because too many Inquiries which is probably due to my ChexSystems score
