I just so happen to be here, and yeah it works here, but honestly you didn’t miss out on much. It kind of sucked. I actually just left the second half of it outside for the animals to eat. Soup Peddler and JuiceLand would definitely be better options and well worth the money.
Always someone to complain about something free. Its a smoothie like all the other places, not sure why people are acting like this is some letdown. Do they not know what a smoothie is i wonder? The animals cant eat a smoothie, thats ridiculous just throw it away if you are too good for it.
I’m pretty sure people aren’t complaining about something free. They are pointing out that this is extremely geographically limited, which was not stated in the post. Adding where a deal is valid is pretty standard (see all bank deals with the state codes in the title) and prevents people wasting time all finding out individually that a deal doesn’t apply to them.
Yeah, it’s mildly annoying. Apparently there are a bunch of them in neighboring states, but zero in my state.
Whatever, no big deal.
No actually I was indeed complaining about the quality and taste of the free smoothie. More than a complaint it was simply a warning for others.😅
However you have a great point about the geofencing if that’s indeed an issue as reported. The primary purpose for my original post was just to let people know that it does work in Austin, but aside from that unfortunately I don’t have any more information aside from the fact that it was literally the worst smoothie I’ve ever had. I can see why it was free.
By the way you guys I love your website and I really appreciate everything you do. This is not at all a complaint against you guys. Just Smoothie King haha
Actually the possums loved it! Just trying to follow the Golden Rule and do for others but I would have wanted. I wouldn’t have wanted to have wasted my time, so it actually wasn’t 100% free.😝
If it was just a typical fruit smoothie, there’s no way I would have complained. I love fruit. The problem was that the Gladiator Smoothie has so much artificial crap in it that it tastes like they took some chalkboard chalk and some construction lime and blended it up with some ice and poured in a bit of cough syrup for flavor XD
It sucked why exactly? Free is free. Didn’t know smoothie snobs were a thing. Btw, animals can’t eat smoothies.
Possums loved it Jack. They’ll be picky about certain things, but I poured it into a bowl that night, and within a couple of hours the bowl was empty that night. I guess those possums must be trying to bulk up😄
Don’t litter next time you’re given something for free.
I agree completely Nicholas litter bugs are horrible. I definitely would have cleaned up any remaining mess, especially considering the fact that it’s in my own backyard!
By the way, when I was picking up the smoothie, I learned that the Styrofoam from the place is actually bio-based! I don’t think the straw and lid are though. But I threw the cup and straw in landfill trash and the lid in recycling. ❤️
