Our Verdict
Bonus is normally $25 when investing $25, recently it was $25 when investing $1 and didn’t required a referral bonus. This is basically double the standard bonus so that’s nice. We will be adding this to the best brokerage bonus page. Do not share your referrals in the comments below, they can be shared in this linked post instead.

Based on sofis trending promotions….bonus’s are shrinking (Sofi Money) and getting harder now (sofi invest, $100, $1000, now $5000).
Doesn’t seem like they are planning to be overly generous again in the future and instead of tightening up.

Also, letting you know here since the Sofi Money post is locked, that the referral is back down to 50/50. It seems they increase it towards the end of each month and then end it on the 31st?

It appears sofi money account actually has separte categories on the site/app for deposit, and direct depsoit. So far the following accounts have hit my sofi and no Direct Deposit has been categorized…keep in mind this categorizing could be meaningless to the bonus itself….

Though not really shares, they do allow you to buy in fractions allowing you to buy $10 worth of BTC as opposed to needing to buy a whole coin at whatever price it is right now like $9100. I would suggest buying $10.50 as with the fluctuation of price people myself included had to purchase twice in order to get to the $10 mark. My first buy only came out to $9.98 because of price change by the time the order went through. Also yes the bonus did come as $25 in BTC.

hey bro, how long did it take for your invest sofi money to settle and be available to withdraw? i bought 100$ from opening bonus and 1 referral in stocks and gonna keep those but i want to withdraw my 100 deposit from last week and still can’t xD just curious cuz i was able to withdraw the cash out of my sofi money savings account almost right away
Not OP, but back in Sept the bonuses started going on hold for about 6 days or so before being available for use.

Got the $25 SI bonus and then got targetted $100 offer for opening SM with $100 deposit.
Finally got off my ass and opened by account on the 26th. Today, the 29th, I got an email saying my account was closed:
“We noticed activity that indicates the account may have been used in violation of the SoFi Money Customer Agreement.”
Huh? I literally opened my account and haven’t even done anything with it. Screw this company.
Their support team is pretty great. I am really happy with SoFi and with multiple offers it might be worth it to shoot them an email or give them a call 🙂
