Our Verdict
The SoFi Money checking/savings account is just ending their offer for 20% back on Lyft rides; that’s obviously much more scalable/useful than on Netflix. Initially I had thought this was an open-ended offer, but seeing the 3 month limit it’s really not too interesting. Still I suppose you can save a few dollars with this offer if that’s worth the bother for you to change your Netflix payment type.
It’s interesting to see a checking/savings account make themselves so interesting with other perks, similar to what credit card companies try doing. SoFi also has run various nice signup offers and has other interesting perks.

Lots of fine print… not sure if it’s targeted.
Am enrolled in the current Netflix offer and also received this email, hoping I can get a few more months out of it. With the new Mastercard going out maybe that will be a way to re-enroll in this.
Also noticed Amazon Prime Video is on the list my payment isn’t until July, but if I pay early with this that would be nice cash back. Hard to believe you would get 20% of Prime so maybe its just the streaming, which I thought you needed prime for?
Thanks, just posted
Nice my 12.99 bill hit and the 2.60 was posted to money account same day! Finally gave me a reason to use the debit card.
This could end up being a bit of a mess, considering 1) enrollment is done by changing your payment method to your SoFi debit card and 2) we’re all getting new debit cards by mid-April (switching from Visa to MC). Hopefully they considered all of that.
Where do you actually enroll for this?? Is it an email, the direct link is just the terms and conditions…
Edit: here is the actual direct link to register:

Indeed you did! Thought a spam link was odd coming from you- sorry man. I’ll double check before crying wolf next time.
