SoFi has added the ability to request a credit limit increase. To do so you need to follow this flow:
- Credit Card > More > Manage Card > Request Credit Limit Increase
You need to meet the following qualifications to be eligible:
- Account Age: Your account has been open for at least 6 months.
Request Frequency: You haven’t made a request in the last 30 days.
Recent Credit Limit Changes: You haven’t had any credit limit changes in the last 6 months.
It doesn’t look like they do a hard pull on your credit as there is no impact to your credit score.
No Impact to Credit Score: Your request for a credit limit increase will not impact your credit score.
Might be useful for anybody that wants the 5% on the SoFi Smart card.
