Don’t forget to stack it with the other promos SPG is offering this quarter. 250 points isn’t a lot, but mobile check in isn’t exactly difficult so worth doing if you have SPG stays planned.

no. the real answer is “YMMV. Proceed with caution”.
so much shit has happened as spg plat that i never use mobile check in or out. i do everything at front desk. elite recognition is not the issue. its the flexibility to move shit around if needed. many times i am “locked out” based on software BS.
