Our Verdict

Not as good as the previous deal for $10. Need to use the same e-mail for both. Paramount has free promo codes, but this might be easier for some.

6/9/24 DP: signed up with code BOOM and it ended up being $49.99 annual Sportsline sub; includes P+; while the promo said only 30 day trial of P+, took the risk based on DPs below that it would be 12 months of P+

Wondering if someone could help me: I followed the directions above. The Sportline membership shows, and I did not have a Sportline membership prior. I did have a Paramount Essentials membership that had ended several months ago. When I went to like the 2, it didn’t transfer to Paramount + with Showtime. Paramount does now show an expiration date of 3/24 though. I see the option to change to Paramount+ with Showtime for $11.99 a month, but I don’t want to push through the change if it’s going to start charging me monthly. I appreciate the help.

So for anyone in the same boat, I took the plunge and took a chance on changing my Paramount Essentials settings to Paramount + with Showtime. It kept the 3/24 expiration date and didn’t charge me.

FWIW, i did the sportsline promo in november 2022, no renewal and my P+ is still working to this day.

FWIW, the more people blab about this the sooner Paramount will nix all the free lifetime subscriptions.

“Also if you go to cancel they give you an extra 3 months free.”

Be extra careful with their free trials. There have been numerous reports of people being charged before the date listed in the account.
Be sure to take a screenshot of your account showing the next billing date. That’s the only way I was able to get them to refund me.

Via the link it shows Paramount+ Essentials and only 12 months.

It’s a leap of faith based on DPs. I did the $10 one in 2022 with the same verbiage but trusted the DPs. Didn’t try the cancel right away but cancelled at renewal in November last year. Still have an active subscription to Paramount+ without charge since then.

Note that if you cancel after extending to get the extra 3 months, it does remove that extra 3 months from your expiration date.

Only seeing paramount 30 days (would be my only motivation for doing the deal, not interested in the betting part)

Sportsline order screen shows: “Qualifying SportsLine members receive a 30-day free trial of Paramount+ Essentials. Stream 30,000 episodes, originals and live TV – including NFL on CBS!”

Anyone see an offer for the full year of Paramount+. Also, are those who took the $10 offer last year still eligible?

Done this 2 years in a row. You get the full year despite it showing 30days

Is it giving you commercial free version, or does it still have ads? I already have the ad version free.

Does this still come with Showtime?
