Chase ink won’t give 5% for online staples orders I believe
It’s always worked in the past for me, granted, I couldn’t tell you the last time I placed an online order with them.

The deal seems to be online only. You get a multi-store egift card, unlike the old Happy Cards that were limited-use plastic Visa gift cards.
ink 5% works online. Chase offers depends on the offer terms. For the current Staples Chase offer, its online only.

Looks like this gift card can be redeemed for a Staples GC. Personally I will be using it for a Lyft GC.
