Our Verdict
Nice to see the full fee waived, better than the $5-off deals. Use a card that earns a high rate on office supply store purchases.

Dumb n00b question please tar n feather me:
There aren’t any issues spending these on store GC’s right? Example take one $200 card and buy a $200 GC for Lowes at a Meijer supermarket or just buy Meijer GC’s….
Does anyone known if you can add these cards to your apple wallet?
I got 5 successfully on the first staple I went to. Is Master gift card not as good as VISA’s? It’s so hard to buy VISA gift card last time Staple offers no activation fee gc.
The only downside I mainly see is that I can’t use these at Costco as a form of regular spend in case I couldn’t liquidate them normally.
Why not? I do…
Costco takes debit cards in store. I used them many times.
Ah ok I got to try that sometime.
Cannot liquidate these MCs for BB load at WM, PITA
Are u sure about that?
You can do it only at MC by changing payment method to debit and loading <= $99 per load.
What is MC?
Money center.
Does this work for MS Citi card?
Does anyone know what happens if you make an online purchase greater than the giftcard amount? Can you split it with another card?
No, not usually.
I usually pay insurance with it
u can by merchant gift card to pay difference
I know everyone is saying not to use this for AMEX SUB, but what about AMEX Gold Delta $10,000 in calendar year to get the $100 Delta voucher?
Can you purchase this with 2 $100 prepaid MasterCards?
Cashier dependent, usually no.
I appreciate the heads up, will get some next week for sure.
Hoping to see a competing deal from OF/OM (preferably with Visa) for this same time period, but this’ll do if not.
