• Starbucks has brought back it’s popular ‘Starbucks for Life’ promotion for the 2019 holiday season. You can enter this promotion one of two ways (you also get 1 entry by viewing the game board your first time):
  • Make a purchase at Starbucks using your Starbucks card
  • Enter without making a purchase. Follow the links on https://www.starbucksforlife.com/ and submit the entry form

The Fine Print

• The Promotion begins on December 2, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on January 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the “Promotion Period”). For purposes of this Promotion, a “day” begins at 12:00 a.m. PT and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT, except the first day which begins at 9:00 p.m. PT and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT. Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.
• There are two sets of prizes:

    • ONE HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND (116,000) SIXTEENTH PRIZES: Fifty (50) Bonus stars which will be automatically added to their Starbucks Rewards account used to register for the Promotion. ARV: $1.61.
    • ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND (1,145,000) SEVENTEENTH PRIZES: Twenty-five (25) Bonus Stars which will be automatically added to their Starbucks Rewards account used to register for the Promotion. ARV: $0.81.

Our Verdict

Honestly you probably won’t get much from this promotion even if you play every day, most of the instant win prizes are average (only really the free coffee and bakery item are useful, plus maybe the free stars) that being said if you like Starbucks you might as well play in the hopes of getting one of the bigger prizes. You can always challenge the ARV of the bigger prizes as well.
