These normally sell out extremely quickly, so you’ll need to get in early to get one. Normally these can be resold for a profit.

Just one of my Starland free handcraft coffees to get this one.. Not very special, but definitely nice to have 🙂

It’s nothing special. If you didn’t get one, don’t worry.

My local Starbucks still had them at noon, but that’s because they turned off online ordering, as they sometimes do in the morning when they get backed up (and never turn it back on when the rush is over).

I was able to get one this morning. It looks like they had a good supply on hand. However, I don’t think I had to purchase a Holiday drink to get it. I saw one person casual ask if she could have one and they just handed it to her.

I ordered a holiday beverage at 10 am and I got a normal cup.

Went there at 7:30 this morning and they were already sold out. They said they only received a few boxes and were out quickly. I’m not much of a Starbucks junkie, I think their coffees are tasty for a treat sometimes and always jump on the deals like the PayPal one recently for a free 3 dollars and things like that.

I’m not super mad but it got me thinking, this is a shady ass promotion. They gotta have an understanding of how many customers go to each store daily and have to understand doing these cups will increase demand. To do a promotion like this, companies should have at least some good faith they will be able to supply a free cup to customers.

I understand not having enough by end of day, but within 2 hours of the store opening, that is just shady to even act like there is a promotion happening. They can probably caulk it up to supply chain issues but no one forced them to have this promotion but they will happily gain the benefits of how many people went out to try to get a free cup.

At the end of the day, it’s not a big deal but a promotion like this from a company like Starbucks is super lame. It doesn’t anger me that I didn’t get a free cup but just that a massive company like Starbucks can play dumb and no one is looking out for consumer’s interests. I hope you all enjoyed my ted talk from the can!

If you think the employees give out a couple then keep the rest for themselves or give to friends you are correct.

Get ready to duel each other to the death for these tomorrow. Might want to get there early a la Black Friday.
