Can’t figure out how to get more than 60 points if I actually complete this! Why waste my time. Not worth it.
When you complete the matches, you get more/bonus points which are revealed when you complete both of the tasks in each match. My guess is there’s then also a bonus for the end, all of which should then add up to 380. Also they’ve been revealing, through emails/app inbox messages, how much a few of the match bonuses are worth.
I completed all – it shows a total of “80 out of 330” stars received. Not sure how one gets the other 250.
I’m in the same boat. I have fulfilled all the tasks so have gotten all the 5 star sets but there’s also one Match Bonus that I don’t know how I triggered it. I have 75 out of 380 stars total and I don’t know how to get the rest.
Press the “Match Two” Button and it will start seeking the pairs, and awarding your points
once you have completed the items under two of the pics that match they will start flashing. Then you have to click on the icons at the bottom of the screen to make it load the starts for the match. It didn’t happen the first few times I clicked on it but eventually they mysteriously loaded the rewards starts. I got 30 for one match and 35 for the second match. so just start tapping all of the icons on your screen and they should start loading more stars.
the incentive is a joke
I just get a “It looks like you aren’t able to play this game, but there are plenty more coming”. Disabled ad-blockers and everything.. For both me and SO’s accounts.
I switched from Chrome to Bing for this action. It worked. Google is becoming a real pain in the backside.
I took a quick look and immediately saw 5 stars for completing some of the tasks. So they’ve actually reduced by 50% the 10 star minimum found in several of their previous games with the simultaneous devaluation of the stars themselves. Newsflash to Starbucks corporate: consumers know how to add and subtract.
After the rewards program changed I swapped to the cash app for my Starbucks purchases with the $1 off boost. Haven’t looked back since.

Ever since Starbucks changed its reward program Ive stopped participating in these promo’s because it feels like I’m over-spending to jump through hoops.
Their devaluation was terrible. No sense giving them business when there are other competitors.
I can walk to a Starbucks so I do a lot of the regular star dashes. These are much easier because it’s often just a simple streak or maybe 1 or 2 ‘pricey’ item you might not have otherwise gotten.
This promotion seems particularly one-sided where you will end up spending MUCH more than you normally would. Plus the reward itself is pretty lackluster based on the spend. 300 stars is 6 venti coffees (unless you use the Misto hack), which is really only around a $12-$15 value.
I may mess with it, but many of the challenges force you to get the higher priced menu items.
On the streak bonuses purchasing a snack like a granola bar or banana for $1.25 isn’t the worst idea sometimes. I usually pair this with a star redemption.
