Nevermind, it’s still working. I just had to change different domains. Think they’re catching on, lol.

By different domains, are you referring to the domain of the temporary email addresses?
I used the yahoo built-in option but eventually it stopped working. which temp email services did you use?
Thanks.

I think it died. I managed to get $300 worth and $100 extra for free! Doesn’t show up anymore.

For anyone who doesn’t have MasterPass available via Citi, etc I’ve been able to change the email on my regular MasterPass account and get the $5 promo card multiple times.

Mine arrived at the same time as the $10 card. You might want to contact them about this.

I was able to do this multiple times with the same citi a/c.

Here’s how:
1. After signing in to masterpass.com with your citi credentials (Chrome incognito mode), you’ll be taken to the page where it’ll show the credit card you’ll be using.
2. Below that, you’ll see the “Contact Information”. click on “Change”. You’ll then have the option to “Add” a new email address.
3. Type in a new email address and click “Add Email” (for the sake of simplicity, I sent the $10 gc to the same address that I typed here).
NOTE: You don’t need to change the credit card you want to charge it to.
4. Then proceed as usual by clicking the “Continue with Checkout”.

Masterpass allows you to store up to 5 email addresses although I did this more than 5 times by editing an existing email and changing to a new one 🙂

Hope it works for y’all!

thx. in for 5… and if you want to go more than 5x then you’re drinking too many cups of coffees. Jk. But it’s quite easy to update/delete emails on your Citi Masterpass Profile on the side without going through the cart.
DP: Regular masterpass doesn’t have the same function for email updates.
Doesn’t appear the [dot] trick works but at least the cart will warn you that you have already redeemed the promotion before and won’t get it again before proceeding.

You can add your regular address again instead of an email address. I think it just worked for me.

I would like to add to this comment that you dont have to use a premenant email address. You can use a temporary email address that only lasts an hour.

You login to masterpass and change your email address to the temporary one, then you go buy your gift card again. Since temporary email addresses can be regenerated at any time, you can just make another email address and do the whole thing again.

Effectively, you can recieve an infinite number of these gift cards.

33% off Sbux is amazing but that’s still too much coffee! haha
What exactly is a temp email? …

I have purchased several dozen of these cards already. I plan to resell them.

You can also go into the starbucks app and merge the small balances into a single larger gift card.

I spent a couple grand in Starbucks lattes annually so this helps! Thank you! Worked for me with throwaway email addresses while keeping my Masterpass login and credit card the same!

How do you sign into Masterpass with Citi credentials?
I sign into Masterpass with the email/password for them.

Ahh, I believe he’s doing this with a mobile app.

EWayfarer
EWayfarer (@guest_662407)

Go to https://masterpass.com and click “Log in”.
On that screen, you have to enter an email or phone number and then Masterpass will present you with the sign in for the “wallet” that is associated with that email/phone.
If that email is associated with your generic masterpass a/c then you will be presented with that login page.
However, if that email/phone is also associated with your citi a/c then it gives you the option to choose which wallet you want to sign in.
If you choose citi, then you are redirected to a page where you sign in with your citi credentials.

And no, I’m not doing this with a mobile app.

Hope that helps!

Here’s another workaround to get prompted with Citi login.
Enter a different email that you know isn’t associated with masterpass or citi, you’ll then be taken to a page where you see this message:

We couldn’t find your Masterpass. We’re sorry, but we couldn’t find a Masterpass digital wallet for that username. Please try entering it again.

And below that, you should see a message “Or choose from one of our digital wallet partners”
I was prompted with Citi Mastercard, Citi Visa/AmEx, BOfA andCapitalOne. this is where clicking Citi Mastercard takes you to the citi login page!

Thanks for sharing. This also works with BofA.

BofA will only let you keep one e-mail on file with Masterpass, so you just need to change and confirm your e-mail by going to/signing in to masterpass.com before going through the Starbucks promo each time.
