Is it 3 per account, or 3 per account per 24 hours? bought 3 yesterday, can I buy more today (and till the 28th)?

Please try it and let us know. I would imagine that it’s three total, but I can’t test it until tomorrow (since I bought today).

Purchased 3 times. No problem.

You can also get 5% back using either PayPal with a Chase Freedom card (5% quarterly bonus category) or Discover card (5% bonus category includes Target this quarter).

I also had a “Make 3 $100 purchases and get $30 in Target Circle rewards” offer, which I earned with these 3 purchases.

Store doesn’t have limits. Online 3 per account

Can confirm. Just got three (separate transactions) and the 4th order was cancelled.

True, but in store you run into issues with compromised cards etc… risk is much higher

True, that’s why I never leave the store before loading to my account.

Just tried in local Target and the cashier said that there is a limit of one per Target Circle account. I think they were just trying to protect Target’s interest.

I usually do self checkout to avoid suspicious cashiers. I’m at about 9 cards now from different trips but appears to be no limit in stores as long as you do separate transactions.

I didn’t know that you can use self-checkout for gift cards. I assumed it needs a cashier.
Are there any special steps needed to buy it using a self-checkout? Do I just scan the barcode at the top right corner of the gift-card? Is there a way to confirm that the $15 bonus will work for a given transaction before the actual payment? Does it show on the screen (similar way it shows when buying online) that a free $15 Target gift card is part of the transaction?

Yep scan the top right bar code. Screen will tell you to scan activation code so you have to open security pull. Then it’ll show the normal transaction screen. Scan your target circle barcode. When you click pay, screen should tell you to scan gift card. Then you pay as normal and repeat.

If I buy 2 $50 gift card separately, will it trigger the bonus offer?

Jack You can buy $50 x 2 in one transaction, but you cannot buy $50 each in two separate transactions.

Surprisingly I was able to buy 3 without getting canceled. I don’t know if that’s because I ordered right around midnight which is probably when the offer went live.

Anyone found ways around 1 per customer? I casually tried a couple things last time but there was something I was missing that was preventing it.

I have a Circle bonus of spend $90 one time for a $10 reward. Does anyone know if this counts as $100 or $85? I notice they tend to split the order with the TGT card.

I would add $5 to the order to be sure.

Target subtracts the value of the Target gift card from your total for bonus purposes. So you must add another $5 to the transaction to trigger the bonus.

For circle bonus it’ll count as the whole $100 purchase. My circle offer was spend $100 four time and it counted each one, even in store (limit 3 online).

Yeah, I figured that out when it checked off when the gift card was delivered and pickup wasn’t ready. Thanks for the confirmation that it was that.

I had the same problem and wound up repaying the Geek Squad with Amazon Gift Cards. I happen to have some left over from the ones I bought to pay my overdue taxes to the IRS.

This is available now in the Circle app, expires 11/28. Looks to be a one time coupon, which kind of sucks. Hoping that this is a just an early deal and 11/28 brings a second one.
