- In order to qualify for $5 off, you must (1) be a current Prime member (2) enter the promotional code “GCSPRING2023” in the “Gift Cards and Promotional Codes” box when you check out; and (3) purchase an Amazon.com eGift Card valued at $50 or more in a single order on Amazon.com beginning 12:00 am (PT) March 27, 2023 and ending 11:59 pm April 9, 2023 (PT) or when supplies have been exhausted, whichever occurs first.
- Not valid on any Amazon.com eGift Cards that are purchased prior to 12:00 a.m., March 27, 2023 or those purchased on March 27, 2023 or April 9, 2023 but scheduled for delivery after April 9, 2023.
Our Verdict
Nice little savings. I wonder if it might end up working twice with the two promo codes, but officially it’s only supposed to work once per account. Those who have two Prime accounts using Prime family should be able to do the deal once on each account. After April 1st you can use the Chase Freedom card to earn 5x on Amazon.
Well, it’s a good thing I didn’t pay $0.99 (plus tax) for a one week free trial for this amazon deal.

It’s now March 27, 12:04am PT. Page still says “Promotion has ended”, and neither promo codes worked during checkout. Has anyone succeeded in purchasing with a discount?

I don’t think it was a sham. The promo terms are there at the link, just don’t seem to be activated.

Many people have the Chase Amazon Prime card that gives 5% back on Amazon purchases all the time. I assume if you use your Prime card you’d get 5% off the $45 spend.
Wonder if supply will last into the start of the next quarter to also get 5% back with my Freedom Flex.
