The Fine Print
Referral Bonus
If you use a referral link both the person being referred and the person referring get a random bonus of $20 – $5,000. Person signing up need to be an active subscription user for at least 100 days. You can find and share a referral here.
Our Verdict
There is a monthly fee of $19.99 or an annual fee of $159. Previous bonus only had a holding period of six months and now it’s 12 months. There was also some astroturfing in the previous bonus. Still a good bonus compared to other brokerage bonuses if you’re doing one of the bigger bonuses otherwise not worth it due to the fees.

William Charles this promo is expired: Program ended on 15th of July, 2024
please also remove Streetbeat from your “best of” page (that link is dead) https://www.doctorofcredit.com/best-brokerage-bonuses-earn-up-to-3500/
thanks for all you do!
Done and done. Thx
I got clarification from Streetbeat – promo is only valid for CASH deposits. ACAT transfer in of ETFs doesn’t quality to meet funding requirements. It has to be CASH deposit !
They have customer support? interesting
Thanks for this comment, it made me decide to move my funds to Schwab instead of this brokerage.
If we had Streatbeat before from the earlier promotion can we do this one?
P.S: this is a sketchy company and they were making AstroTurf comments list time around I remember. But free money is free money
@Aimmy Did you ever get an answer to this?
“The Bonus Reward will be deposited into the Qualified Account approximately 12 months following the day on which a Qualified Customer makes a deposit into a Qualified Account.
Any Bonus Reward deposited into a Qualified Account pursuant to the Promotion must remain in the Qualified Account (minus any trading losses or gains) for a minimum of 360 days.
”
LMAO. so the total hold time = 2 years
fees for 2 years = $320
only bonus reward needs to remain in account for 360 days – you can remove the initial amount/funds you invested
you know each ACH / transfer cost money right?
Does moving over a traditional IRA count? Searched the website and here and no one mentioned it.

So, 12 months to get the bonus, and ANOTHER 360 days that you have to keep the bonus in the account. Sounds like 2-years of fees.

Hmm, I just registered today for Schwab’s $2500 deal for $1M+. More reputable brokerage, but the bonus is way less than this one. Both have holding periods of 12 months.
I heard that amounts over $500k don’t have much risk if a brokerage goes belly up if you’re just transferring stocks like I would be. Decisions, decisions… not sure what to do.
“I heard that amounts over $500k don’t have much risk if a brokerage goes belly up if you’re just transferring stocks”
why? insurance is at max 500k
I don’t get the hate, I think this is a useful bonus even for folks who keep their money “invested” in 5% HYSA accounts.
A sweet spot is at $100k, so you can simply buy SGOV and enjoy an extra 1% APY for a year.
