Eligible plans are: Magenta, Magenta MAX, Magenta 55+, Magenta MAX 55+, Magenta First Responder, Magenta MAX First Responder, Magenta Military, Magenta MAX Military, One, One Plus, Magenta and Magenta Deaf or Heard of Hearing, and Magenta Amplified, and small businesses customers with up to 12 voice lines on Business Unlimited Advanced, Business Unlimited Ultimate, Magenta for Business, and Magenta MAX for Business.
This enrolls you in auto renewal, so make sure to cancel otherwise you’ll be charged.
That’s great with a free membership for a year. Worked fine here with a 55+ One phone contract.
Why does it say “Membership automatically renews at up $83/year after year On Us. This offer may be changed or cancelled at any time” when Basic is only $59.99 regularly?
FYI if you have a business plan with an EIN and not a SSN, you are ineligible (as I found out). Why, I have no idea.

I don’t understand basic AAA membership benefits. You all know that any visa card give you road side assistance with a flat fee right?
With AAA membership you get roadside assistance and towing with no fee.
Also, in my experience of using AAA vs other roadside assistance, AAA is much faster to arrive.
I don’t pay for AAA, but if it’s free, I’ll take it.
I called my credit card once for Roadside assistance. The Credit Card company used State Farm. While waiting on the side of the highway for the tow truck, a tow truck came. It was a AAA tow truck. The tow truck driver said that he had another tow to tend to, but would come back afterwards – I told him that State Farm was on their way. About 15 minutes a tow truck came. I thought it was State Farm. The guy was hooking up my car to the tow truck, them State Farm called, and they would be there in a few minutes. I said that AAA was already about to tow my car. The State Farm dispatcher started yelling at me saying that I should have called them to let them know that AAA was towing my car. The AAA guy did not want anything. AAA >> credit card towing company.

This gets one the ‘basic’ membership but you can upgrade from there.
Family member has been paying for an AAA membership for decades, but has never used their benefits or services once. I’ve been trying to explain to them that it would be cheaper to call and pay a tow truck in the off chance they’ll ever need one (thankfully not yet), but to no avail.
FYI – this AAA benefit applies per family.
