The Shell discounts ended the last week of 2023.
I’m not really sad, because the local location was already fifteen cents higher than someone else within a half mile down the road… so the discount was a non-offer for me.
(useful in some areas, but not mine)
Shell has always been consistently the most expensive brand, probably because so many people use Fuel Rewards to bring the price back down to the same level as the other brand names (other than Arco, which is usually the cheapest, and occasionally even cheaper than Costco).
This is totally YMMV. Shell is easily the best value in my area, and Arco is trash “gas”.
