The bucket is pretty nice. It comes with a light-up handle. Will use it for the candy we have to give out and which no one ever comes for. My store had them set up outside and I was asked to activate and redeem the offer in the app. I had not been asked to do that previously.
I can never tell the difference but I suspect that the one I went to was a franchise (it used to be a Sprint store run by a different company).

The Wendy’s Frosty isn’t free by itself like the nuggets were a few months ago. You need to use it with another item purchase. However, you can purchase a $1 Boo! Book, which has five coupons for free junior size Frosty’s (plus apparently a coupon for a $1.99 kids’ meal) which you can give out for Halloween (or use yourself, no one will question it – hey, your kid could be in the car or at home). The money goes to charity and it isn’t taxable.
You also get 200 reward points when you use the offer, and those can be redeemed for a free four-piece nuggets. So, not a bad deal for a buck.
This worked out pretty well for me at the store where I used P2’s code. I placed an online order but when I got to the store they were out of Boo! Books, so they had to refund the dollar. So I got the drink and 200 points for free. Just as well, since they messed up the drink I had ordered which was supposed to be the cold brew frosty and it just tasted like iced coffee.

Could just call and not get switched.
