Our Verdict
Will try to remember to repost on Tuesdays.
Did not work today in the app around 10am
yeah toasted bfast taco this time.FREE. hint: go inside around 9:00 and if you need again before 11:00, order on the giant phone app/screen and find the free to add to the order that way.
Is this only good before 11AM?
Does it come with a discounted ER visit voucher ?
Taco Bell was good through the early 90’s. I was at an NHL game last month, and when our tickets counted towards 2 free Taco Bell tacos, we were trying to give them away to each other. Event he teenagers didn’t want them.
Unroll a Taco Bell “burrito” sometime. It’s like 85% tortilla. Cheap but not at all worth the money.
I would rather NJ recognize HSAs than a nationwide Taco Tuesday.
Code for today is, not surprisingly, 02TACOTUESDAY
going now for p1 and p2
Got my free taco for today! Have to enter promo code 01TACOTUESDAY at checkout.
That’s a good heads up about need to enter the promo code. Functionally, this behaves more like an “offer” than a straight forward “reward.”
You forgot to mention “Not Valid in New Jersey!” because, spite
“In 49 states, Taco Bell has accomplished its goal to “liberate” the Trademarks for “Taco Tuesday” for everyone to use, including small businesses across the United States.
But in New Jersey, the Taco Bell promotion with Door Dash is not available due to the ongoing and drawn-out legal battle between the billion-dollar company versus the small-business owner in Somers Point, NJ. Gregory’s, located at the corner of Shore Road and Delaware Avenue, has been serving “Taco Tuesday” since 1979 and received the Trademark from the US Patent Office in 1982. The original dispute between Taco Bell (owned by multi-billion dollar corporation YUM! Brands Inc) started with Taco Bell trying to conduct “Taco Tuesday” promotions nationally but Gregory’s history with the Trademark that is now over 40 years old became the stumbling block for the popular fast food company.

I thought the “owner” of “Taco Tuesday” had been Taco John’s.
If I have the timing right, the NJ place got the trademark first, but could only enforce it in NJ, since they didn’t have a business presence in other states. So Taco John’s swooped in and grabbed the trademark for the rest of the country. Taco Bell sued Taco John’s and Taco John’s dropped their trademark rights, but that leaves the NJ restaurant still holding the rights there. Taco Bell would have to get them to settle or win in court before Bell can use the “Taco Tuesday” moniker there. IANAL.
What “spite”? Are you saying a small business should not be eligible to maintain a trademark it has owned solely in its state for almost 45 years?
I took the “spite” comment that Taco Bell could have made the offer valid in NJ and just not referred to it as “Taco Tuesday”, so Taco Bell was being spiteful towards NJ.
