Update 8/29/21: Deal is back.
The Offer
- Taco Bell is offering a 10% discount on giftcard purchases
The Fine Print
- Must purchase at least $10 in gift cards
- Limit of $200 in gift cards
Our Verdict
We’ve seen 20% bonuses in the past, but that was limited to $10 cards. Taco Bell does use a third party for these gift cards, so it won’t stack with the American Express dining credits unfortunately.

Taco Bell is longer on my list of fast food restaurants after they elimininated the “Fresco” option from their menu.
Fresco is still possible on burritos (not sure about everything else), as my parents like to get them. Mom got a fresco beefy 5 layer burrito yesterday.
Hmmm… Both of my local TBs have told me fresco is not available.
Anyone get this working on PayPal key? Getting “Please double-check your billing address and credit card information.”
I maxed out this offer. What can I say? I love the nacho fries.
Is this sale still on? I do not see any mention of it on the Taco Bell gift card webpage when I click on that link.

Its still there as a banner at the top. May have to unbloc Adblock though I did not have to. It does say minimum $20 order now.
Yes, I was able to purchase a card and saw the discount when I was about ready to check out.
Any idea how it codes on credit card purchases?
Trying to decide to use Chase Sapphire Reserve (3% if its food which translates to 4.5% UR) or a 2% card if its non-food
Screw Taco Bell for getting rid of the Mexican Pizza!! They are dead to me.
And the decision to kill off the Caramel Apple Empanadas – those were quite tasty.
These gift cards can only we used online/app for pick up orders. Strangely can’t be used in store!
You have to use the app for the rewards points though….
Not strange at all. They want to push people to use the app in order to lower labor costs. You think they are selling discounted gift cards out of the goodness of their hearts?
Statistically some % of gift cards are never redeemed which is pure profit, that could be more the reason too.
When you buy $20 or more in E-Gift Cards.
Only valid on egift cards
