- Club Extra: $294 and get 26,000 miles (1.13¢ per mile)
- Club Top: $493 and get 52,000 miles (0.94¢ per mile)

Avianca offers a similar program, but this program effectively sells miles for much cheaper. I personally never buy miles and I’m not that familiar with TAP, but I suppose this could be good opportunity for people that value TAP miles. Update: Apparently this is not new or not

Perhaps this is new for the NA market, but they have already had this club in Brazil (where they have held a historically high presence) for years.
The more expensive club is good for a round-trip business class to South America, but as you only all the miles needed (100k) after 12 months, there is a big chance of a devaluation of the award chart.
This club isn’t new.

With such trash award chart values, there’s really no use for these miles
Not even for upgrades on cheap economy fares?
Virgin atlantic has a boost.
Perhaps I’m missing the other benefits of the tiers, but it seems rather odd that cost per miles increase going up to the middle two tires.
