The Offer
- Target is offering 10% off Target gift cards from 12/4 – 12/5. Limit of $500 in cards can be purchased
Our Verdict
There is no further discount when using Target REDcard. Discover is offering 5% back at Target.com this quarter. We usually see this deal a couple of times a year. It looks to be available online and in store, so should be able to do it both in store and online for a maximum of $1,000 in cards.
Has anyone not received their gift card in the mail yet?
RMN tracked 1%…lets see if it sticks….
Will this stack with a baby registry 15% off?
I was able to use the online code to get 15% off gift cards a couple months back. I still have the in person code that I can use and I’m hoping it would stack.
for spending the GC yes – it’sjust the payment method you can use whatever coupons/discounts you can use if you were paying with CC/cash.
if you’re referring to buying the GC itself no nothing else will stack (besides normal credit card cashback)
I did this deal in October and got it again today. Thanks! I didn’t have any Target offers, so I just used a 2% card.
For those who don’t shop at Target much, Citi merchant offer $10 off $50 is a great stack. $55.56 less Target 10% discount to get to $50 exactly, then get another $10 off on the backend with Citi.
Does this work on GC ?
We do not shop Target enough to warrant a $500 GC. Is there any prepaid or retail GC angle for this to take advantage of it still? Using some google-fu it seems Target GC cannot be used to buy other GC, is that true?
You cannot buy other GC. In past you could use Target GC to buy Target GC (so get 10% on top of 10% stack YoY).
That is true. Some stores have groceries though. Some prices do beat regular groceries. Also they price match any competitor if the item is the exact same. Useful for matching Walmart TVs for example.
Can pay with Paypal and use the Amex Marriott 10X points back.
Chuck William Charles Ends today
