Our Verdict

Unfortunately it’s only a 10% bonus in the form of a Target gift card, I guess still useful for some small personal use.

Well this is going swimmingly for me 😁. @Elliot ‘s trick is still working a few days later. So far, I have $600 combined between Lowe’s and Home Depot gift cards, which gets me $80 in free Target gift cards, 1% back in Target circle cash, and 10% back from my Discover card (first year cashback match). So I’m getting effectively getting just shy of 25% back!

Also RetailMeNot consistently tracks for me on any gift card purchases from Target, including their own store gift cards. It’s only 1% but better than nothing.

I was able to activate two $5 offers in the cart when I added a $25 and a $50 eGC, so the effective CB rate became 13.3% on $75

Elliot Good looking out! Tested it out and it seems to take for me too. Also if you have an Albert card you can use it for 10% off of $50 (for a $5 back stack).
