Our Verdict
Anybody can get an offer of 30,000 miles + $100 statement credit, that offer is superior unless you value Alaska miles at over 2¢ each. Previously when the standard bonus on this card was 25,000 miles it was possible to get 25,000 miles + $100 or 30,000 miles so this is just really a natural extension of that with the additional 5,000 base miles.
It’s also possible to get a bonus of 30,000 miles on the business card. One of the main reasons people like Bank of America cards is that they will combine multiple inquiries made on the same day into one, other cards you might want to consider:
- Bank of America Cash Rewards $200 Cash Signup Bonus
- Spirit Airlines 15,000 Mile + $100 Statement Credit Sign Up Bonus
As always make sure you read these things everybody should know about Bank of America credit cards before applying or asking basic questions in the comments.
What kind of delay is there from meeting spending to getting points + companion pass? Was thinking of traveling December but even if I put the spend on near-immediately that only gives not much more than a month.
Do you now have to spend $k minimum within 3 months of account opening in order to get the companion pass?
