- Spend $100 & earn 850 miles at the following properties
  - Candlewood Suites
  - Crowne Plaza

- Spend $200 & earn 2,150 miles at the following properties:

Enrollment limited.
Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem.
Only U.S.-issued Mastercard Credit Cards are eligible.
Limit 1 enrolled Card and 1 redemption per Card Member.
Offer valid at IHG Hotels & Resorts properties in the US. Reservations must be made directly with IHG Hotels & Resorts via ihg.com.
Offer only valid on room rate and room charges during promotion timeframe 4/09/2021 to 5/31/2021 and is non-transferable.

Wondering if this will stack with the following:

3x MR points via Rakuten
875/1250 AA miles
Double/Triple base point promo from IHG
14x IHG Rewards Club CC offer via Chase
Plus standard 50% base point boost from IHG status
3K bonus for 2nd or 3rd stay using IHG CC as part of the IHG promo

In total, a $100 (before taxes) stay at a Holiday Inn could net:
300 MR points
875 AA miles
1500 IHG (base points w/ 50% status boost), 3000 (if hitting the Double offer), 4500 (if hitting the Triple offer)
1400 IHG points from Chase Credit Card offer
3000 IHG points using IHG Credit Card (part of the Double/Triple promo from IHG)

Total:
300 MR points
875 AA miles
2900 IHG points (1st stay on 2x/3x promo), or
7400 IHG points (2nd stay on 2x/3x promo), or
8900 IHG points (3rd stay on 2x/3x promo)

Added Staybridge, Candlewood, HIX, HI, and Kimpton yesterday, today Crowne Plaza and IHG offers appeared (weren’t there before)

What’s the point of such low point offers? Nobody is going to book a $200 stay just to get 2k IHG points. If you were already going to book it makes sense, but what do these companies gain in that case? Why not offer a decent amount of point that could actually impact someone’s spending behavior?

To my understanding, simplymiles is earning AA miles. Spending $200 and earning 2150 AA miles is a nice deal.

Evan is right. The points/miles earned are AA and, for us, this doesn’t conflict with other bonus streams. It’s additional sweetener and in a channel that Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and Wyndham don’t have offers right now. Just a little extra attention for IHG’s brands?
