If you take advantage of Citipricerewind Doublecash earns less than 2% since it reduces your owed amount without giving you the 1% paying bonus.

Is this going to be sent out to every card holder? I haven’t gotten an email about it yet.

Never noticed the 2% CB at drug stores on this card. Will give it a whirl, now that I’ve run into the 2.5k BoA quarterly cap.

This card doesn’t have foreign transaction fees, so it’s a nice bonus when travelling.

Citi Double Cash appealed to me and I applied and used it until I realized there’s a $25 minimum. I ended up cashing out and sock drawering the card. I now use my old Quicksilver as an “everywhere” card instead. Will switch to the Amazon Visa through this promo, I guess.

To me Freedom Unlimited is better then Citi DC and of course Quick Silver. (You might as well go for the Spark rather then quick silver. They waive the AF every year upon request).

Abey yep, I value UR more than this, and I’d guess most here have a BBP also. I do admit, I loved the recent 5% on utilities Amazon card had, prepaid several.

I use the Ink Preferred for utilities. I value 3 UR more then 5%

I also use my Quicksilver as the “everything else” card, but this will be nice for 3 months since I have this card as well.

You guys would rather earn 25% less cash back (1.5% instead of 2%) just because of a $25 minimum redemption? 😮

I would only because 1.5 UR points are worth more to me.

Citi Double Cash for 3 months in a Visa version.

Citi Double Cash already exists in Visa version. It is known as Fidelity® Rewards Visa Signature® Card.

Fidelity has foreign currency fees. This is better.

If I’m not mistaken there is no card that earns 2% on everything and doesn’t have foreign currency fees… it’s my #1 wishlist card.

It already exists in several forms, but there’s only one that has no FTF and no AF: the PenFed Power Cash Rewards Visa.

It earns 2% on everything worldwide, but you must have a penfed deposit account to earn the 2% rate. You can park 1500 in a checking account there and you’re all set. They pay dividends out but it’s like .40% APY or something. Otherwise it’s a 1.5% back card.

If you don’t care about it needing to be Visa, then the Paypal Cashback Mastercard also earns 2% cashback with no FTF. There’s really not much difference between MC and Visa acceptance rates anyway.

If you really want Visa, there’s PenFed, but to earn 2% requires you parking $500 in a checking account or be military/veteran. Another alternative is the State Dept FCU premium cashback. 2% cashback, no AF or FTF. SDFCU is very conservative though and I’ve personally had a bad experience with trying to get their cards.
