Our Verdict
I think the best offer we’ve seen on this card is 125,000 points, but that only required $3,000 in spend. This $700 statement credit offer is significantly better, but the spend requirement is much higher. This bonus works out to be an extra 4.67% cash back on all purchases. What offer you prefer will likely depend how you value Marriott points and how easier it is to generate spend.

$15k is a lot of spend on one card unless it’s used to buy years worth of cbd oil to treat the pain of spending $15k on cbd oil.
Now that was FUNNY. lmao
Don’t see this offer.
NM thought it was a continuing spend bonus
I got this offer and the part that worries/confuses me is the verbiage about the $300 statement credit normally offered at anniversary. They are making it seem like the first $300 credit you get in the first year is part of the $700 bonus, though I don’t think they mean to.
Does this card not normally come with a $300 statement credit once you sign up in the first year?
Nevermind, offer terms state ” Your first reward year begins on your account opening date.”
I got an email offer yesterday for 75,000 points plus $100 statement credit on business card. That’s the same offer that came up when I clicked the link here and put in my Bonvoy number. Curious how they decide what you’re offered. I had about 80 nights this year but all of them using my corporate code. I would get that’s the reason I was offered the business card.
Do we know if the Priority Pass includes restaurants?
It’s Amex, so no it does not.
NO. amex priority pass does not. You have to use Chase, citi, US bank, or others.
“What offer you prefer will likely depend how you value Marriott points and how easier it is to generate spend”
Cash is better specially after that mandatory gala article you linked to earlier.
DOC – Do you know if someone can still get a points welcome bonus after signing up under this offer?
No
I’d take it if I were Ambassador Elite even though I dropped Marriott.
