Our Verdict
They have offered a similar 70,000 mile bonus in the past (60k + $50). Best non targeted offer was 50,000 + $100 just recently. I’d grab this bonus if I was targeted, if you were targeted check to see if it has the once per lifetime language on the landing page or not. I’d also recommend reading these things you should know about American Express credit cards before applying.

Is the current offer to upgrade my Amex Delta Gold to Platinum worth it?
“Request an Upgrade by September 19th, 2016 and earn 25,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,000 in purchases on the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership.”
Personally I’d prefer to wait for a 60k+ offer, as if you do the upgrade offer you won’t be eligible to get the sign up bonus again.
No email, but this showed up under the AMEX Offers on several cards.
Just signed up for the 50000 miles + $50 offer…. feeling bad…
