Our Verdict
The American Express Platinum card normally earns 1x on all purchases, you could look at this offer as a sign up bonus of 135,000 points after $15,000 in spend (as you’d earn 1x points on the base spend). But realistically it’s better than that as you’d still receive 10x points even if you didn’t hit the $15,000 spending requirement.
Some people have been able to get similar offers to show online, either through the American Express pre-qualified checker or by using CardMatch. I highly doubt that this offer will show on either of those portals (especially without the exclusion language). Keep an eye on your mail I guess.
