The Offer
- Earn up to 200,000 points with the new Business Platinum Card® + Business Checking. Bonus is broken down as follows:
- 150,000 points after you spend $15,000 or more on eligible purchases within the first three months
- 60,000 points for checking
- 20,000 bonus points when you complete both
Our Verdict
The 60,000 point business checking bonus is a public offer and we’ve seen business platinum offers as high as 250,000 points in the past, although that was targeted was well.
Opened this offer in December 2022, completed both offers by February 2023, but never received the 20k additional bonus. Messaged Amex support today and they were able to manually add it. Worth reaching out if you haven’t received your bonus.
This offer is back (150k for biz plat, 30k for biz checking, 20k for doing both).

Amex finally pays out the 20k bundle bonus, it was delayed due to technical issue.
“We’re reaching out to let you know about a technical issue that impacted Bundle Bonus for your American Express® Business Checking account. We’re committed to providing you with the best experience possible, which includes letting you know when something goes wrong and what we’ve done to resolve it.
Unfortunately, we experienced a technical issue that impacted the Bundle Bonus for your Business Checking account. As a result, we didn’t issue the full amount of Membership Rewards© points to your account that were offered at the time of your application submission. We apologize for any confusion this issue may have caused.
To make things right, we’ve applied the remaining points to your account.”
I was told I got the 20K additional points several days after getting the checking bonus points in February, even though I do not see it in the points summary. I do not remember my points balance month by month, so there is no way for me to check. Anyone has their bundle points posted in the points summary?
Past the 12 weeks after fulfilling the terms of the offer, still no 20K bundle bonus. This is worse than the US Bank business checking waiting game. Amex can ki$$ my a$$.

Still nothing for me on the 20k bundle bonus. I’m past 8 weeks after fulfilling both the business platinum and business checking requirements. Amex terms say they have 8-12 weeks to pay out, but this waiting game is really irritating.
Completed the $15k spend and the checking requirements and both the 150k and 60k MRs have been credited. Now just waiting on the remaining 20k to come through.
Was reading over the original offer language on the 20K MR “bundle bonus”:
“The additional 20,000 Membership Rewards points will be credited to the Membership Rewards account associated with your Business Platinum Card 8-12 weeks after you satisfy all requirements to earn this Bundle Bonus. We may not credit the Membership Rewards points, or we may take away the Membership Rewards points if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this offer or that you intend to do so. Your Business Platinum Card account must not be cancelled or past due and your Business Checking account must be open at the time of fulfillment.”
Once that 20k bonus hits I’ll probably remove some funds from my business checking to higher interest paying account. Amex knows this so I won’t be surprised if they try to keep us in limbo for the full 8-12 weeks after fulfilling both the card and checking bonuses.
I’m waiting for the extra 20K also for the combo offer. Will update this comment if i see any activity.
Still playing the waiting game on that 20K MR bundle bonus….. is Amex hoping we will just forget? Come on Amex, just pay it out already and save everyone’s time and aggravation.
To be fair, the business checking account is actually decent. 1.5% interest rate with no requirements is better than most business checking accounts. Too bad the missing 20k points is giving people bad vibes.
Did anyone get the points for successfully completing both the AMEX Biz Platinum + Business Checking + points for completing both offer?
I only completed both but only got the biz platinum points so far (its been a week). Just curious how long it takes to post? Also to be fair, one of my Biz platinums is on another account due to me already having a biz platinum card.

Got my 150k and 60k, reached out to support one said wait 8-12 weeks. Other said if it doesnt post in 7-10biz days reach out and we will open investigation.
I am also told the same by support. I fear this combo promo wasn’t baked good by Amex’s IT and based on my past experiences this will require a case to be opened and will take 30-60 days for 20K to be added. let me know how your timeline works out, thanks!
I’ve called several times to ask about this and still nothing. I got my 60k about a month or more ago and they never said 8-12 from that time but I’ve opened a case for it and still nothing. I got the bonus for the card and checking acct, just waiting for the extra 20k.

Hello, I currently have an SSN and TAX ID Business platinum under the same log in with the TAX ID having the business checking account already. Whenever I access the apply now link it takes me to that business checking account. I am hoping to apply for one under the SSN. Anyone have any insight on how to get around that so I could apply and attempt to get my 2nd business account but under the SSN instead of the TAX ID?
