How do you download them? By download, does it mean they’re available offline and can be viewed or played using any device?
Does it work on monthly prime membership ?
In the past, if someone gifted you a kindle book, you could convert it to an Amazon GC if you didn’t want the book.

The full terms aren’t that clear and do refer to a gift card refund in some cases. Regardless, I did try and could not figure it out myself. I ended up just refunding back to card. You can consider that one negative datapoint.
There is a similar Citi merchant offer buy 5.99 get 5 back.
I wonder if there is a way to add digital credit to use later or split payment between cards
