This doesn’t seem to be for Best Buy (the physical store), just for BestBuy.com.
The way this post was phrased I though it was a new offer for Best Buy the physical store. Amex constantly gives me offers for BestBuy.com, but never for Best Buy the physical store. So this doesn’t seem anything new if it were described correctly.

Can I buy a gift card in best buy and get 7x points for it?
Terms say not valid in-store, and not valid for gift cards.
Same here. Amazon one is valid for gift card reloads, which is lovely.
