Update 1/7/25: Offer is back through 6/2/25 (ht YMMV)
Update 6/28/23: Offer is back and renewed with a 12/31/23 expiration
The Offer
No direct link, targeted offer
- Get a $5 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $50 in one or more purchases to pay US bill payments for cable and/or internet services made directly with the provider by 7/13/2023.
The Fine Print
- Limit of 4 statement credits (total of $20)
Our Verdict
Works out to be a 10% discount if you spend exactly $50. Not a bad deal but not amazing either. In the past, we’ve heard reports that you can spend the entire $200 in one shot and get a $20 credit.

I got the offer twice. One with an expiration date of 1/12 and the other with an expiration date of 6/10/25. The first 4 transactions posted the next day. the 4th transaction triggered both offers. But no credits have posted after that fourth transaction even though the second offer with 6/10 expiration still shows in the account.
Got the SAME offer, my bill was more than $100 and got credited $10. So I’m guessing they count them as 2 $50 purchases?
Yes, I’ll add a note
Mine is 5% off up to $20 ($400 spend).
ditto on the offer here as well.
They got smarter.
Just got this offer today after not having it a few days ago when it was first posted.
I do not understand why I continue to not get these offers. I used this particular one a year or two in the past and I scored with the insurance one last year. If it wasn’t for the 6% on groceries, my Amex BCP card would essentially be worthless.
After the annual fee it’s 4.4% on groceries.
