The Offer
No direct link, targeted offer
- Get 10% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled card to make a purchase, paid for at the pump, at U.S. Chevron & Texaco locations by 12/31/2018. Limit of $25 in total statement credits
The Fine Print
- Excludes all non pump purchases including convenience store purchases, car wash, automotive repair services, online transactions, gift card purchases, wholesale purchases, airline or marine fuel purchases
Our Verdict
How useful this deal is will depend on how competitively priced Chevron/Texaco is near you. It should also be able to stack with the other amex offer where you get $5 when you spend $35+ Some readers report outrageous pricing whereas others say it’s one of the better options in their area. Always a good idea to price compare as a 10% discount isn’t that big.

typo: Get 10% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled card to make a purchase, paid for at the pump, at U.S. Chevron & Texaco (not Texas) locations by 12/31/2018. Limit of $25 in total statement credits
Shell 3.83, chevron 3.99 here in So Cal.
I think all Chevron/Texaco have closed in D/M/V area, or at least in NoVA
is it onetime fill up of i can use this offer for many fill ups?
Can be used multiple times
Yeah… Unfortunately Chevron is almost always 30c or more than Exxon or Shell where I live. I don’t even know how those gas stations stay in business.
They sell …candy… in the carwash.
Just 30c more?
there is a typo: “at U.S. Chevron & Texas locations”. Texas should say Texaco.
Fixed thanks
people go bananas over 1 extra measly percent on categories, but 10% “isn’t that big”?
🧐
Relative to different gas station price variation
It really isn’t when the gas is 10% more expensive…
Not that big considering their gas is more expensive, and a cap of $25. Whereas 1% extra is ongoing.
