Our Verdict
Not showing in my account for whatever reason. Dell usually has some big sales, but I’m not sure if they will happen before 11/30/2018 or not. Last year Topcashback was offering 20% back at one stage for example.

Tried using this earlier this year. Almost universally better to just buy from another retailed and get a lower price. Nice if you have to buy direct from Dell and can’t use Amazon or Bestbuy. Another offer that’s good for real businesses and not really churners.
if you stack with a portal you can get pretty close to or even undercut the amazon price depending on the then-active sales/dell coupons. plus, if you’re looking for something with a particular warranty, e.g. the pixel guarantee on some of their ultrasharp monitors, you are much better off going direct through dell for at least that purpose. agree though that this is more of a price equalizer than a unique opportunity. i think i saw one or two dp’s about getting dell to price match amazon via chat, though, so there’s that possibility…
FYI, Dell has 11% discount going on now for 11/11 date, so it ends tonight. Also Ebates has 11% rebate on Dell today. I just stacked them all with the Amex Offer for a good discount.
Me too.
This is not a new offer. It was one of the 10% back offers that launched very shortly after the death of AMEX OPEN program earlier this year. 10% back at various merchants. Some others were Staples, Lowe’s, FedEx Office, FedEx Shipping. Dell was the only max $1,500 back ($15,000 spend) while the rest were max $100 back ($1,000 spend) IIRC.
Good point
I used mine back in July. Was hoping it was a new one. Don’t want to risk using it again on another card.
Got it on one card:
“Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Business Cards are eligible to enroll. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Limit of $1500 in total statement credits per American Express® Card Member. Excludes international contact center, Global events, Dell Financial services, Dell Outlet for Home, Dell Outlet for Work, Dell PartnerDirect, Dell Premier, Dell Premier Connect, Dell Premier Select, and authorized retailers. Excludes gift card purchases. See merchant website for delivery availability in your market. Offer is non-transferable. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 11/30/18, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer.”
FYI you have to click on the link in the Amex offer (dell.com/Amex) for it to work. Ime not stackable with portals.
Not true.. I have used this offer 3 times already and it stacked with BeFrugal..
How. Only when I click through Amex did I get the cash back. Did you have to call Amex or it was automatic?
yeah, not true. i had it stack with the AA portal in the past ten days. didn’t use /amex, and already received statement credit.
