Our Verdict
Grocery store offers are always useful. You can also buy a gift card at the local grocery if you want to max it out that way.

No offers for me, which is typical. I have the blue cash preferred. The always 6% cash back is nice, but i’d prefer 10! Anyone else score an offer with this card?
I got 1 additional Amex point on groceries with gold up to $2k

I got a worse version of this, $5 off $30, up to 4 times.
I got this one, too, but it’s not worse (17% or $20 back for $120 > 10% or $20 back for $200). Just split up the transaction when checking out.
When it has the wording that “up to x times” wording I’ve never had to split them up. You can one-shot it, i.e. spend $120 and it triggers all 4 rewards.

Got a variant of this. Mine is earn 1 additional MR point per dollar spend at supermarkets. Up to 2000 bonus points. Got it on my gold. Nice tiny bump in MR for groceries!
