If you’re flying Iceland Air, they allow a stopover in Iceland for up to a week https://www.icelandair.com/flights/stopover/
If you’re already gonna fly it and spend the money, it’s a cool opportunity to see an amazing island. June is beautiful.
I’d be really careful as a general decision too if you’re considering Iceland Air and you’re not going to Iceland. It’s kinda like flying Air Canada as a connection where they’re somewhere between “a good state airline” and “spirit”
The best thing is that Icelandair gives each passenger a thimble’s worth of water… and that’s it. No more. Everything else, you need to purchase on-board.
And the only reason they give you the thimble is that the human rights tribunal required them to do so after… ‘the incident’ …but we don’t talk about ‘the incident’ anymore, do we? No. NO! Not anymore. Or else!! Shh.

…get your shit together. Get it all together, and put it in a backpack. All your shit. So it’s together. And if you gotta take it somewhere? Take it somewhere, y’know? Take it to the shit store and sell it. O-or put it in the shit museum, I don’t care what you do. You just gotta get it together. Get your shit together.
Icelandair… the amenities of an ultra low cost carrier for the price of a legacy carrier.
This guy gets it.
No Luck :/

Lasts until November, Icelandair has some seriously solid vacation packages. I have not tried a layover in Iceland on the way to Europe but they will put you on some extremely tight connections. Overall really great experience in Iceland and would highly recommend.
They do – those trips to Iceland and Greenland at that price point is insane. Slick deals had a hay day last year around this time w/ their package deals.
Can you game this by buying and adjusting refundable fares?
