Deal has expired, view more St Regis deals by clicking here.

The Offer

No direct link, targeted offer

  • Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend $500+ on room rate and room charges

The Fine Print

  • Valid from 2/4/2019 to 5/31/2019
  • Offer valid only at St. Regis® locations in the US and U.S. territories, Canada and Mexico

Our Verdict

If your stay is after 5/31/19 then you should be able to call up and pay in advance, in the past this has always triggered similar offers. Not a huge selection of St Regis properties in those areas to be honest, but a $100 savings might be useful to some readers.

I’m heading to the St Regis Maldives for my honeymoon. Any creative ideas to get this to work? Would love to save $200 on the Seaplane if possible. Does St Regis usually sell gift cards? Thanks in advance for any help.

No, unfortunately not. No legacy SPG hotels sell gift cards yet. And even if they did, the Marriott gift cards still cannot be applied to legacy SPG property folios, and legacy SPG reps are still saying that there is no ETA on adding this functionality.

Thanks for the heads up; it seems to have changed overnight to allow redemption at legacy SPG properties during the implementation of Marriott Bonvoy on Feb. 13th. Indeed, a Wayback Machine query of the https://gifts.marriott.com/ reveals that it hadn’t yet been rolled out on Feb 11th.

Unfortunately I doubt that legacy SPG properties would have started to sell physical Marriott gift cards onsite overnight in the same fashion (and in particular, we need them to be stocked at U.S. StR properties), so I’m not sure that this change would help Eric before his trip…but this is definitely a promising change that hopefully means that legacy SPG properties will start selling Marriott GCs soon. And I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they have already started selling them, even!

Are the AMEX offers back on twitter? I was not targeted on my SPG Biz for this, but after clicking the link in this tweet, I could add it.

Nice, thanks. My SPG Luxury card didn’t get this offer (seriously?), but adding via that link worked.
