Being able to send myself money without this being tagged as a cash advance seems a little broken. 4k a month I can pull out for free and throw into a HYSA for 5% while on a 0% APR promotion. Possibly get all the way up to ~15k. Anyone tried this before?
Is anyone able to provide the POID number for this Send $30, Get $10 Send & Split Amex Offer? CSR says it’s a generic offer code that shows at the very end of the offer terms?
I received the new round of targeted offer and activated it on my card, but now it’s missing. I know 100% I enrolled and even activated Send & Split (I’ve never used it or had enrolled before). Did anyone else’s offer disappear? AMEX customer service said they can’t find the offer and won’t honor it. I haven’t tried sending the $30 yet.
I linked my Venmo thinking I could sent to my PayPal. Payment showed as pending and didn’t go through. (If you login to Venmo you can only send to Venmo) canceled it but I got an email saying I’ll be getting my $10 in 5 days. The deal showed as redeemed on my Amex deals account. Perhaps you don’t need to actually send it, can fake send and reverse transaction. I did send it to P2 Venmo later just in case.

Got on P1 and P2, easy $40 for a few minutes of work (made a new Venmo account for P2, Venmo gave us each $10, then AMEX another $10 each).
Found the offer in my Amex offers, added to card. Added $31 into my Amex Send from my 0% APR BCE, sent to P2 through Venmo. Received confirmation of $10 credit within one hour of sending at exactly 6PM
I did send money and than entered the mobile number from contacts.No where it showed that mobile# which i entered was associated to venmo?
When I hit the “send money” button in the Amex app and typed in P2’s email, it brought me to the Venmo app and showed at the bottom I was paying with Amex Send. I have both the Amex app and Venmo app on my phone. I typed in the email manually as well, not sure if that makes any difference, but I didn’t want to share my contacts with Amex
The 0% APR works on this money you send thru venmo?
Is this offer only for “new users”? I’ve sent $35 via Venmo and also from the AMEX app but no email confirmation from AMEX.
I found this on a platinum card. Can I assume no one has found this on an authorized user or employee card?
