Our Verdict
We’ve seen varying signup bonuses of $50 or $100. We once saw a targeted $150 offer. This targeted $200 offer is highest ever, though it also has a higher $2,000 spend requirement.
I got this offer via email, and some others reported getting it as well. Again, this is a targeted offer, and has no public landing page.
I just tried to apply but opening the link from the targeted email doesn’t show the $200 offer anymore. Is it expired even though the email says apply by September 5th?
Yeah ya got me. 10% is the going rate these days for me. Not playing chase and citi games. I may still try citi but I must be on some kind of blacklist. Sure its “more spend” but I unfortunately am spending plenty even non bonused and chase could change the rules for or against us anytime and have always been a bit less desperate since I’ve been doing this. Why forego 20+ cards over 2 years even if its only 1-300 a pop for a few more hundred on 1-3 cards? Bird in the hand for me. Let chase go after college students until they give up their dumb rule.
Can you have more than one Apple card?
Wonder if Goldman is trying to boost the card’s user base before trying to offload their consumer division?
normally i wouldn’t do this but seems like good timing with the new iphone coming out. i’ve tried using apple store balance to buy physical products but seems like there are some hoops to jump through, so this seems a lot easier…
Edit: Never mind. I misread what you wrote.
Is there a way to know before you sign up if you’ll be enrolled in the 5% travel/dining offers? I got this offer emailed to me. I swear when I first opened the email it mentioned the 5% thing also, but now it is just saying the $200/$2,000 offer. Probs not worth a 5/24 spot either way…
I like that they are trying… but still not worth signing up for.
nice monologue
all comments are essentially monologues.
May be worth it if you’re already planning on buying a new macbook. It’s just a $200 discount essentially
Getting close, Apple. Hit me with $800 for $8,000 spend and we’ll talk.
Gross. Keep your fantasies to yourself.
That’s all? How about a Chase Sapphire MDD, I’m getting ready to do one a second time for about $1700 for that same $8k spend NVM what the SUB will be actually redeemed for… Just saying!
