Our Verdict
Initially Apple Card offered no signup bonus at all, then they mellowed and started doing some smaller $50 – $100 bonuses; the highest we’ve seen before was a targeted $200. And so I was surprised to see this offer popped up in my email inbox – at $300 I might go for it. If you’re targeted, keep in mind this will count toward your 5/24 count for future Chase applications.
Deal History:
- Update 3/10/25: There’s now a public offer at this link for $200 back. Valid through March 21. Each month through December you make 10 or more purchases and earn $20 Bonus Daily Cash. Total will be $200 if you meet all the months from March through December.
- Update 3/6/25: Another round was sent out for $300 bonus. Must apply by 3/31/25.
- Update 12/12/24: Another round was sent out for $300 bonus with $1,500 spend. Must apply by 1/13/25.
- Update 9/4/24: The $300 offer just expired. Apple is now sending out a new targeted $200 bonus which is broken down to ten $10 bonuses for each month you make 10+ purchases, through June 2025. Not as high offer and more annoying, but it will be easier for those who don’t have a lot of spend volume to get a $200 bonus by doing 10 tiny transactions at the vending machine or self checkout each month.
I signed up thru the CK $200 offer, is GS ok in paying out the bonus?
I hope they are not like Venmo/Synchrony
I never get this, do I need to opt in somewhere?
This was a good card for me as a catch-all for Apple Pay but since I have the CFU cash back match, it’s only been useful for access to the Apple savings account I set up. Guess I need to find another HYSA with a decent rate and easy access to funds when needed.
What is CFU cash back? Wouldn’t Kroger 5% Apple Pay be better?
I’d assume Chase freedoms unlimited. There was a deal of double cash back for a year so 1 x 1.5.
this card is pathetic lmao.
for you it might be but for me, someone who just doesn’t spend enough to make getting every 5% category it’s a fine card. I got the $150 bonus a week or 2 ago and now I get 2% back on most things and a nice looking card.
This or pay $800 for a sapphire with coupons to overpriced Doordash and overpriced Stubhub ha
sapphire nobrainer
Halfway there, Apple. Halfway there…
Anyone who’s had more CC’s than iPhones get targeted? My 20-to-1 ratio seems to be working against me.
I buy 1-2 iPhones a year and never been targeted. I could actually use this card because I’m sick of using my carrier’s EIP. But I’m not going to burn a slot unless I can get a decent SUB (I’d settle for $200).
I am on Android (ex-iPhone user) now. I got the offer. Not really helpful for me I guess.
Why not? Most people are probably just going to get the bonus and cancel or bounce.
@chuck T-Mobile reduced to 2%, needs to be updated
Starting July 1, 2025, using Apple Card with Apple Pay at T-Mobile will change from earning 3% Daily Cash to the standard 2%.
Updated, thx
Got a $200 bonus on $2000+ spend through Credit Karma (they claim it is a Credit Karma exclusive bonus)
