[Targeted] American Express Blue Business Cash $300 + $200 Sign Up Bonus

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • American Express is offering a bonus of up to $500. Bonus is broken down as follows:
    • $300 after you spend $5,000 within the first three months
    • $200 after you enroll in Vendor Pay and make a qualifying transaction with your Card, and (iii) add at least one Employee Card and make an eligible purchase on that Card

Card Details

  • Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases for the first $50,000 in spend every year, then 1% cash back on all purchases
  • No annual fee
  • 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for 12 months

Our Verdict

Previously we’ve seen a $500 bonus but that required spend of $15,000+. Looks like there is no fee for the Vendor Pay (The Basic plan has no monthly fee for the first user and no fee for a second user for six months from when the first user signs up. After six months, the second user will have a free of $15 per month.) making this better than the previous offer. Unfortunately it’s targeted so most people won’t be eligible otherwise we would add it to the best credit card bonus page.

Can you hold both the Blue Business Plus and Blue Business Cash at the same time?

Might be a dumb question, but can the $500 bonus be cashed out to MR?

How you all meet the Amex’s high spending requirement since giftcard purchases don’t count?

On a no annual fee card, that’s not stingy at all.

William Charles It looks like there are multiple bundle offers for different people. It makes since since the web address alludes to there being multiple bundles. I assume they’ll all look like:

https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/campaigns/small-business/bundles/(Name of business card)-vendor-pay-employee-card/index.html

Jason Morgan can you post the link for the Biz Gold?

EDIT: I figured it out for the business gold through trial and error: https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/campaigns/small-business/bundles/business-gold-vendor-pay-employee-card/index.html

How do I know if I’m targeted? Do I need to login? Or was it sent as a email?

If I’m not targeted and I apply cute the direct link what will happen?

William Charles you made a mistake? The terms say 5,000 in 3 months not 6 months.

Just apply. I did and it told me the offer was no longer available, so I’m pretty sure I’m not targeted.
