Reader Chris sent this one in. I got an email from Chase too with various news and offers, but it didn’t show this one. It’s also not coming up for me on the regular Chase My Bonus page. Hopefully others got this offer via email or via the online page.
Tried to use my Chase card both with Chevron and Shell, both times the app refused payment and blamed Chase. Called Chase, it wasn’t on their end. Annoying.
In case anyone else has the same issues, Exxon’s app worked for me finally. Not sure why Chevron / Shell wouldn’t, tried again and still same issue. Weird.
Can use once only. On the activation page, it says “Get a one-time $10 statement credit………….”
Looks like the BP app is still a nightmare. Every year or two I use this, I’m reminded that it isn’t worth the $10…but here I am again.
Anyone have the $10 credit post? Is this multiple use? Language suggests so.

My Shell Gas app transaction occurred today. In my Chase account, the transaction shows as Pending and is not yet posted. (I have not received a credit/bonus/reward, either.) The Post date will probably be tomorrow (which is standard for most of my transactions).
Did your $10 credit post on the transaction date or the post date? Thanks!
Mine posted same day it loos like. Language seems to indicate multiple uses. I’ll attempt at some point and will post back here if I remember.
I did not receive a second credit when I tried earlier this month.
thanks for the post — and esp. the wording for email subject lines. Alas, while that wording showed up in email search for several of our accounts, in the end, this particular offer (useful as it would have been while traveling) a big zero for 7 in my household. High-lee targeted apparently. Curious we’re getting many other great Chase offers, but not this one.

I received this offer for my Sapphire Reserve. Used it already. Then a week later, my husband got the same offer on his Freedom Flex. I’d love to get it on every Chase card we have!!

I have paperless statements enabled, but most people have that.
Other than that, I don’t do anything special.
I don’t get spammed much by Chase.
