Our Verdict
This offer has been available from business relationship managers for some time and paper apps through them bypass 5/24. There is a rumor that BRM will soon require $1,000,000 in revenue to be eligible and that this $500 offer will also be available via small business specialists and also online soon. I have no idea how accurate that is. These targeted e-mail offers do not bypass 5/24.
$500 is as high as this bonus gets and it’s actually 50,000 Chase UR points that can be transferred to travel partners if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Chase Ink Preferred or the old Chase Ink Plus.
Can these targeted offers be used by anyone or are they tied to a specific individual?
Targeted means, well, targeted.
On a sidenote for UR points, does anyone know if you can upgrade a Chase Sapphire to a CSP? For example, signing up for a CSP and accumulating points, but then downgrading to a CS until you need to use those points – maybe 2 years later. Does that work?
Yes. Keep in mind, the annual fee can hit anytime.
Can’t you just reduce the credit limit so low the af can’t hit like what ppl did with the Ritz cards?
I read somewhere here that Chase Business cards are now requiring minimum of $1000 in revenues. Are there any data points on this ? and is this likely to be hard-coded?
I am thinking of applying for Chase Marriott Premier Business 75,000 Points offer.
Thanks.
Pretty sure you are thinking of American Express: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/american-express-now-requiring-at-least-4-figures-1000-minimum-business-revenue-for-business-cards/
Thanks William Charles
You are right.
I need more coffee…………. 🙂
I may have missed it, but what’s the subject line of the email? I try to search Gmail by subject line for these things.
If I’m already reaching the minimum spend requirement to get the 30k UR sign up bonus, can I ask Chase to match this offer?
Go for it, it’s very much YMMV with Chase reps. It’s probably unlikely, as lots of folks have tried and been denied requesting the CIP match to 100k, but do let us know how it goes 🙂
If I currently have a Chase Ink Preferred credit card, can I apply for the Chase Ink Cash to get the bonus? I seem to remember something about not being able to add a new Ink credit card if one already has another type of Ink card.
You can apply. Not a problem
I think the only limitation is for Sapphire cards. Can’t be approved for another if you already have one.
What cards I never seen or used or shopped on line for anything . Please lete know the purchases when and we’re they were delivered . Also send me a replacement card as well . THANK YOU K.S.
How is babby formed?
I can use the $500 to pay for my trips to Home Depot. Need more checking bonus deals that includes Florida.
Tons available for FL. That’s where I am too.
Suntrust, PNC, Chase, BMO Harris, Hancock Whitney, etc are all ones I’ve picked up recently in Orlando
Home Depot? Is this a reference to something?
So if targeted but over 5/24 and I still apply, then what happens? Do I get an HP on my credit report?
Regardless of 5/24 or being targeted, if you apply for a credit card, what do you think happens?
Most probably, you get a HP and get denied.
I got the email this morning, but I’m over 5/24, so I don’t apply, even it’s targeted.
Yes, these e-mails don’t bypass 5/24. Let me add that to the post.
I didn’t get the $500 email for the Ink. But it showed up under my offers as well as the $800 for CIP when I logged into chase.com.
I’m at 4 for the 5/24
My questions are,
Which to apply for first?
Apply to both at the same time and hope for the best?
