Our Verdict
Neither offer is particularly exciting, the Southwest deal is an extra 0.5 points per $1 spent and the United offer is an extra 0.833 (update, lots of different offers some better than others).

I got nada… Wife got 2500 bonus miles for spending $3500. Not worth trying. The bonus doesn’t even make up for the loss in rewards due to using the United card for everyday spend instead of others which earn more points/$.
I got one on my Southwest Premier Earn 5,000 bonus miles when you spend $10,000 between October 1st and December 31st, 2017.

Wish I got the 30 purchases for 7,500.
My offer was 2,500 miles for $4k spend, weak.
I got a really bad offer — 5,000 miles for $13,000 in spend!

Got spend 3k and get 2.5k extra points. I have around 40k points and don’t think I will fly united. Might just disgrace or close this card this year
I got 5k miles for a whopping $20.5k spend – maybe they think I already spend a lot on my card so why bother with the lower spend offers? lol woulda atleast preferred 10k bonus for the effort. but all the same, will hit my annual $25k for the 10k bonus and PQD waiver at the end of the year anyways. glad I saved that MS cap space until now instead of finishing it earlier in the year.
