Our Verdict
Can be stacked with this 10x offer until the end of the year and hopefully we get new offers for January + February as well. These offers are why this card is listed as the #1 store card
Hat tip to DDG
I just got an offer between now and January 14th to spend $800 online and receive 250,000 SYW points. It says 250,000 in the fine print too. Wild!
I got this too, but it excludes utiltiies, insurance, etc. It’s pretty much only good for actual “shopping”, it seems.
Sure, which for me anyway is simple enough. I grocery shop online for pickup and that alone will cover more than half of it.
Just got my offer: $50 after $750 of online spend. Works out to an additional 6.66% CB rate. Not the best in the world, but far from the worst. Likely just gonna go to vanilla CCs
Just received new offer: $80 statement credit for spending $800 online (12/15 – 1/14)
shiti Did you receive any offer this month? I had received similar $80 last month but none in Jan.
Hi👋 yes, I got $50 statement credit for $750 online shopping this month. Sorry it didn’t come your way also. There’s always hope for next month!
shiti Thanks for the reply. When did you receive the email? Was it from the usual email id?
Yes, the usual email (shopyourwaycard @ info16.citi.com) on January 16th in the morning
None for me this month. Hope you got an offer today!
Yes got offers in Feb and March. But none in Jan.
Do the point redeem as a statement credit for newer cards as well on both these offers and regular earned points? Little confused about the shop your way points and have heard on here Citi changed since the demise of Sears (is it TY or SYW points for new applicants?) and how many CCP. The websites are a bit scattered between shopyourway and Citi for information.
The only card available currently is the DhopYourWay card and any points earned are SYW points, not TY. No they cannot be redeemed for a statement credit. You can cash them out for giftcards to hundreds of retailers. I cash out for a $200 Amazon GC every couple months.
Confidential Arbitration is a clause on the https://www.shopyourway.com/legal/terms-of-use. Would tell a story but worry about repercussions and would also say a cuss or so at those terms.
Been getting the utility spend, but I am getting too far ahead on those bills…
Same but I guess I can’t complain. They’re bills I would have to pay at some point anyways
I’ve had this card for 15-16 months now and I’ve yet to receive a single targeted offer. I’ve signed up for every email option the site has and have been bombarded daily with Sears spam. No clue what I’m doing wrong. I’ve used this card as my main grocery and gas card for months and got nothing. I’ve sock drawer it for months and got nothing. So if people are applying for this card because of the targeted offers, then just know that these offers are never guaranteed no matter how often people receive them. You could end up like me and get nothing but Sears spam in your mail box daily.
FYI, offers come from the credit card (Citi) emails, but not the rewards program (Shop Your Way).
I can’t tell you how to get targeted, but I can tell you that you can safely unsubscribe from shopyourway.com daily spam emails.
Good to know. Thanks.
Darn, didn’t get this offer yet. Still got $50 on $750 online spend, 5% on $500 utility spend, and 10% on $800 grocery/gas/restaurant spend. I’ve been using PayPay Bill Pay and my Chase Freedom for utilities for 5% and $800 is getting to be a bit much for g/g/r spend though. This $50 multi-spend offer would have been nice.
if you can swing it, buy a 500.00 VGC or MC GC or a 500.00 card to you chain supermarket. I do it and it works for the 80.00. I spend a little at rest. and at gas stations and hit the 800.00 monthly.
READ the FINE PRINT on some of these offers from SYW/Sears. I had an offer where I couldn’t pay any utilities/subs/medical bills to name a few.
BTW my card does not say Sears on. Just shop your way Master Card
Old language
Most Sears cards have been converted to Shop Your Way, some still have the Sears card that earns ThankYou points. Both get similar offers though.
